Summer Half 2025
This year, we will continue our tried and tested summer policy for tenants renting shared apartments: you can keep your room over the summer by paying only half the rent per calendar month in June, July and August. The period can be from 1 to 3 months, as long as it is at least one full calendar month.
There is no need to vacate the apartment, but the keys must be handed over to the office. During this period, the apartment is not used for overnight stays, but only as a “storage room”.
The key must be brought to the office no later than (cannot be left in the apartment)

When you return the keys, the half-payment is calculated and the rent is normally paid on the 7th of the month with the receipts already received. This way you have security of tenancy for the autumn and avoid having to reapply.
Key returns will only be accepted for keys with sufficient information to make a summer half payment (tenant’s name, exact address of the property, e-mail address, desired months).
Key return is accepted only if the returned key has the information required for making a summer half change (tenant’s name, precise room address, e-mail and required summer half months)
The keys must be returned to the Tankkari office or to the Kallentori service automat.
Note that summer half is only available for shared apartment rooms!
